All of the attorneys that IMI utilizes are litigation experts with years of experience in their respective jurisdictions. Frequently, through the use of skilled litigation tactics, IMI can position a claim for dismissal, settlement at mediation or settlement conference and thus avoid the cost and uncertainty of trial.

If a case cannot be resolved, IMI’s panel attorneys and their law firms are skilled trial litigators as well. Many of IMI’s panel attorneys try cases both in their specific state as well as in courts outside of their home state.

Each law firm on our panel has agreed to IMI’s proprietary Litigation Management Guidelines. This comprehensive Guideline outlines the expectations of the attorneys handling IMI’s clients’ litigation. The Guidline includes, among other topics, IMI’s litigation philosophy, discussion levels, reporting frequency guidelines and billing guidelines. All law firms and attorneys are reviewed annually for compliance.

Reduced rates are negotiated with each law firm with a tiered approach for Senior Partner, Partner, Associate and Paralegal. Invoices are reviewed to ensure that the proper legal resource is being utilized and billed for each activity.
